Our Orthotic Process
1. Scanning
After your consultation and walking assessment, you’ll have a detailed discussion with the podiatrist about your personalised treatment approach. If custom orthotics are recommended, a 3D digital scan or mould using plaster will be taken to capture the shape of your feet accurately.
2. Prescription
Your custom prescription will be carefully crafted based on factors like your movement patterns, foot condition, body weight, footwear preferences, and shoe size. We’ll select the ideal materials and design features to suit your individual requirements.
3. Fitting
When your custom orthotics are ready, they’ll be delivered to Waldron Podiatry, and we’ll schedule a fitting session with you. This appointment typically takes around 30 minutes and gives us the chance to ensure your devices fit properly and feel comfortable.
